American hooked rug showing flowering plants and birds on a black background.
Dated at the bottom “1879”. Fresh from a Cape Cod home. Condition is good
considering its age. To appreciate the rug you have to admire it from a
distance. You see this a lot in paintings. When it is hung it is very decorative
in any decor.
Size: 46in by 22 1/2in ( 117cm by 57cm).
