Jacob Roth(Canadian) 1891-1991.Purkeydoddles Corners,Waterloo. A
Mennonite farmer who started carving at age of 87.After, he relocated to Ailsa
Craig and built a workshop behind his son’s home.His works are
in many museums and private collections including the Beaverbrook Art
Gallery,and the Canandian Museum of History,as well published of
monographs and folk art reference books.
For its age the condition is very good. Size:22.5 by 11 in.
