Description
Scandinavian (possibly German as well) painted beech dresser box.
Circa 18/19th century. Beech wood is found in southern Norway,
Sweden and Denmark which makes this box highly Scandinavian.
The facade decorated with two figures on horse back flanking a
building. It appears they are having a gun duel. The box is
decorated on allsides and the top. A very highly collectable
box but being more of a mans taste. Condition is exceptionable.
