Not much is known about this replica except it was made early 20th century and was found in Quebec,Canada.It is possible it was made in Quebec as a lot of French artists are exceptional in the folk art fields.The main body of the cathedral is made of a very light wood and the base is very solid.Damage is very minimal.This is a very large structure and the paint is original.Size:H.30in.,L.54in.,W.20in( 76cm by 137 cm by 50cm). Bronzed.Flanking fable animals.Matching urns.Dial with Arabic numerals. Further info: When clock repairs are made the movement is marked by the clock maker and a date is added.Movements of this clock are dated a number of times.The earliest date is May/ 1712.The hand carved case would be ca.1810.
