Swedish bonad sold at Bukowskis marketplace on Oct 21/14 for $7900.00 cdn.fds.(premium added).Dated 1812 and signed AES( Anders Eriksson).Size W.164cm.,H.97cm( 65in by 39in.)In good condition. 690.Contemporary life size great White Heron.The Heron is made of white burlap,wood,muslin,papier mache and wire.It is signed and dated by the artist.About 32 1/2in. tall(including platform) by 31 1/2in. tip to tail.ly. 158A.Very good carving of an angel/putti.This French Canadian would date early 19th.century.Came from a Quebec countryside church.19in by 7 1/2in(including wings)(49cm by 19cm).Retains a good amount of paint. 558.Hand colored engraving "A View Of The Taking Of Quebec" by Laurie and Whittle,Nov.1797.This battle took place on the Plains of Abraham,Quebec in the period 1750-60 by the French and British.The battle lasted less than an hour with the British being the victor.Both Wolf and Montcalm were killed.This engraving was done by a soldier,taken from his painting,of Wolfe's forces depicting the landing and engagement of both the British and French forces.13in by 18 1/2in(33cm by 47cm). Crewel work linen panel.Flowers,birds and animals.I am not sure of its origin,possibly English,or its age.A very decorative piece of art.There is some restoration plus a sleve for hanging.
